Accountable to: PCP Chief Executive & Board of Trustees. Located: Offices across County Durham with some home working. Full time (37 hours per week). Flexible Working: Given the nature of the role it is expected that the post-holder will work flexibly, including extended hours, evenings, and weekends to ensure the WBFL service and PCP remains responsive and agile. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the Wellbeing for Life Service delivered by PCP and County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT), including effective management of staff, volunteers, budgets, and stakeholder relationships. Develop, implement, and evaluate existing and new projects in line with PCP’s Strategic Plan. Ensure PCP and commissioner requirements and standards are met or exceeded. Support PCP's strategic development through active involvement in the Senior Leadership Team. Work within the Adult Wellbeing Service governance arrangements to develop and deliver a range of support for communities across County Durham. Strategically manage and ensure effective operational delivery of the Wellbeing for Life Service, in line with PCP’s mission of Health, Wellbeing, and Learning for All. Lead and manage a team to deliver a multi-agency partnership approach to improving health and reducing health inequalities across County Durham. Develop relevant multi-agency Standard Operating Practices and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Embed the Approach to Wellbeing into all aspects of service design and planning. Maintain risk, governance, and information assets tracking and monitoring systems, reporting on relevant issues and progress. Ensure the smooth running of all projects through effective line management of the project team. Support business planning and development as part of the Senior Leadership Team. Identify and develop appropriate business opportunities, assessing options for potential new activities and programmes. Build and maintain effective links with commissioners and related organisations. Drive high-quality standards and efficiency in all aspects of delivery. Ensure continuous improvement and development of existing projects. Manage performance of all programmes to agreed indicators, ensuring targets are met and progress reported. Ensure user and stakeholder engagement across all programme areas. Support the quality agenda, maximizing opportunities for recognition and award status for quality standards. General Responsibilities:

Operate within the policies and procedures of PCP, including confidentiality and data protection. Support the organisational approach to Quality and continual improvement. Assist with marketing & engagement work and gather views from the communities supported. Represent PCP at various meetings, forums, and events. Collate monitoring and evaluation information to support agreed targets and outcomes. Provide accurate and timely internal and external reports as required. Liaise with relevant teams to maximize opportunities for service users. Adhere to financial processes and ensure resources are within budget. Develop and apply appropriate monitoring and evaluation tools in accordance with performance monitoring procedures. Ensure quality standards are developed and maintained.
