Are you an experienced qualified accountant looking for a new & exciting challenge? Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will have the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance team. Key areas of responsibility will include: Preparation of the management accounts & budgets, including reporting on any significant deviations from budget. Year-end procedures & statutory accounts preparation in accordance with reporting requirements. Ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements e.g., VAT, Corporation Tax, etc. Liaising with internal & external auditors. Supervision of the Finance team to ensure reporting timescales are adhered to. You must be able to demonstrate: At least 2 years’ experience of leading a team. The ability to communicate effectively with all finance professionals & non-finance professionals. The ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear & concise reports to non-financial personnel. Excellent interpersonal skills to allow you to keep your team well-informed and motivated. Experience of working within a NHS, LA’s or Public/Private sector Children's/Adult Services environment.
