To make a direct contribution to the development and successful operation of the Managed Services function, working with colleagues to develop and implement departmental strategy, objectives and improvement processes. The operational requirements are to work Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00, there will be a requirement to alternate between Croydon and Heathrow Data Centre according to workload at each site and travel expenses will be met. The White Space Analyst Assistant is responsible for assisting the White Space Analyst in managing the Data Hall (White) Space by allocating space for IT equipment, ensuring power, space and cooling requirements are met, performing checks on all installations and decommissions and ensuring the accuracy of the asset management tool. Full on the job training will be provided and the role will primarily be assisting the White Space Analyst to deliver the key responsibilities detailed below. Key Responsibilities

Keep the Data Centres inventory tooling system ‘IT Advisor’ tooling system up to date and accurate. Implementation of data to various IT business systems. Allocate space via IT business systems for IT equipment based on environmental and customer requirements. Allocate space for IT equipment based on environmental and customer requirements. Liaise with the Data Centre Electrical teams when additional power is, or alterations are, required. Carry out housekeeping checks in the Data Halls and request fixes through the Cabling team. Attend meetings with client Data Centre managers and installs team to discuss up & coming requests. Ensure all work is meets the client/CBRE standard and that any associated service level agreements are met. Monitor all relevant IT business systems and ensure that all requests are carried out to the client. Accountabilities
