Our client
are a team of highly experienced and professional engineers who have extensive experience in the renewable sector, specialising in providing tailored O&M, servicing, blade repair, and major component exchange solutions for all wind turbine owners.
Base Location:
East Kilbride
Working Pattern:
Full Time 40 hours per week
Opportunity:
Up to GBP38k dependent on experience, overtime, pension scheme, personal perk package aligned to your lifestyle/family circumstances, competitive industry training programme.

What is the Role?
You will be working with a team of technicians who take pride in the operation and maintenance of their fleet.
Responsibilities:
Reporting of EHS site-based issues to the SHEQ Manager
Preparation works for major operations
All exchange MO works
Completion of task specific documentation
Completion certificates
Server end of work file review
Lessons learned files
Provision of tooling requirements for MO works
Utilising information from our operations team, you will also perform scheduled maintenance, fault rectification, and major component exchanges on our customers' fleet of turbines on a daily basis.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Preferably 1-year previous experience as Wind Turbine Technician -
Gamesa G8X
Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer, aviation engineer)
OR
professional training in mechanical engineering sector.
Previous experience of WTG major operations.
Familiar with MS-Office operating system, word/excel.
High degree of quality awareness; fault finding, and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems as they arise.
Team player with a confident personality and good customer interfacing skills.
Able to work at heights.
High degree of flexibility and prepared to travel throughout the UK if required.
Professional qualification in an electrical/electromechanical/mechanical discipline (desired).
