We are seeking a skilled Windscreen Technician to join our team, covering Inverness & The Highlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of windscreens in various vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a full driving licence and a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. Duties Assess damaged windscreens and determine the appropriate course of action for repair or replacement. Use hand tools and power tools to remove damaged windscreens safely. Install new windscreens according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Ensure proper sealing and finishing of installed windscreens to prevent leaks. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding services performed and any additional recommendations. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly related to automotive systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all work meets quality standards. Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
