Wood Machinist , £15+ per hour, Monday to Friday, Permanent, nr Poole, Dorset.
I have a truly amazing opportunity for a Wood Machinist to become part of a passionate team in a specialist Marine workshop. This is a great role for a Wood Machinist who doesn't want to be making the same thing day in and day out but wants to be working on bespoke products and designs.
As a Wood Machinist, you will be working as part of a small team producing high quality products from initial drawings to finished product. These will be varied and include Marine Furniture and private commissions.
Responsibilities: Produce high quality products from initial drawings to finished products. Work with a wide range of workshop tools, including Spindle Moulders, Band saws, and hand tools.
Requirements: Previous experience as a Wood Machinist. Ability to take drawings through to finished products. Own transport due to the location.
If you can demonstrate a higher level of skill and experience, you may be considered for a higher salary.
