Your responsibilities as a Wood Shop Machinist will be: Set up and safe use of a range of woodworking equipment and CNC machinery, including Edge banders and Beam Saw Cutting and shaping wood Feeding wood into the machines Reading and understanding technical drawings Selecting the right type and quantity of wood for projects Cleaning wood shop tools and working environment Carrying out routine servicing and doing some mechanical repairs to the machinery Manage stock inventory with regular checks and responsive ordering Background
The successful Wood Shop Machinist will have: Previous machining experience Experience working within a manufacturing environment Experience with wood or an interest in woodwork Attention to detail A driven and proactive attitude with the ability to learn quickly Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Employer
