Following up enquiries from customers
Liaising with suppliers regarding specifications
Viewing boats to draw up a technical specification
Costing labour and materials
Estimating for customers
Obtaining signed orders and deposit payments
Bills of materials
Managing labour
Day-to-day man management of skilled shipwrights and other trades working on your boats
Liaison with owners
Liaison with surveyors
Organizing cleanliness and housekeeping of wooden boat projects
Invoicing and the collection of payment
