This is a one-day Work Experience, aiming to inspire the next generation of talent by giving you a taste of work and the aviation industry. What does a Work Experience Insight Day at British Airways look like? Our Work Experience Insight Days are a way for students to gain first-hand experience of working for British Airways. The day will include activities, Q&A panels, workshops, guest speakers, and more! Our Customer Service Work Experience Insight Day The British Airways customer experience begins long before they arrive at the airport and step on board one of our lovely aircraft. Our brilliant team members at our Global Engagement Centres are a vital part of that experience, delivering our unique BA service through various channels such as phone, email, and live chat. On this Insight Day, you will hear from a range of colleagues from different departments and have the chance to participate in workshops and activities to give you a taste of what it is like to work in our Global Engagement Centres. About You At British Airways, we look out for your potential and attitude, rather than your experience. We can provide the training and help you develop your skills and knowledge, but you need to have that positive attitude that we’re looking for in the airline industry. Applying for an Insight Day The British Airways Work Experience Insight Days are aimed at students, either at school or college (not university). To apply for a Work Experience Insight Day, you must be: Year 9/S3 or above Have a valid passport Please ensure that if you are successful in your application, you are willing to travel to our Manchester Global Engagement Centre for the Work Experience Insight Day. Recruitment Process Step 1: Explore which area of British Airways you’d like to gain insight into (do your research and speak to our mentors!). Step 2: Apply via the British Airways careers website. Step 3: We will review all applications for eligibility, let you know via email if you have been successful, and confirm next steps. *Top Tip!
