Opportunity in leading manufacturing environment. Permanent role in Christchurch location. The WHSE Advisor is responsible for driving compliance and leading the "safety first" culture on site, managing risk, and educating staff. Reporting to the National People & Safety Manager, this role suits a senior coordinator ready for the next step or an experienced Advisor. Experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the National People & Safety Manager to develop strategic plans and actions. Implement improvement plans targeting best practices. Collaborate with Site Team Managers, Leaders, and workers to maintain safety procedures. Provide advice to Site Management. Set up consultative mechanisms to identify and manage hazards and risks. Ensure inductions and training are implemented. Conduct regular audits and inspections. Manage incident reporting and investigations. Lead toolbox talks. Coordinate injury management and return to work programs. Liaise with ACC on claims. Experience and Skills Required:

Relevant Diploma/Tertiary qualification. Competent level of WHSE knowledge. Minimum 3-5 years in a WHSE position. Experience implementing and managing a WHSE system. Experience with ACC and return to work processes. Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills. Strong risk management skills.
