£75,000 per annum Sanctuary Personnel is seeking qualified, highly motivated, and experienced professionals to join our client's supportive yet demanding environment, ensuring the highest quality healthcare through service excellence, education, and leadership. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care safely and efficiently. Exhibit exceptional decision-making abilities in critical situations. Utilise the nursing process to develop a care plan for each assigned patient. Act as a patient advocate, liaising between the patient, family, and healthcare team. Initiate and participate in patient care conferences. Use equipment and supplies safely and economically. Assign, advise, and direct support personnel as required. Assume in-charge duties when necessary. Take responsibility for professional development by participating in continuing education programmes, keeping up-to-date with professional literature, and engaging in professional organisations. Qualifications & Registration Required: Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution. Critical Care Nursing course certification. Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred. Current registration as required by the Bermuda Nursing Council. Two years of continuous recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU. Current certifications: American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), IV Therapy. Essential experience in physical assessment. Demonstrated knowledge and clinical competencies. Pre-employment substance abuse screening is mandatory for all successful candidates.
