As a part of Global Security, Global Workforce Screening is responsible for conducting the Firm’s screening processes in order to ensure a safe and secure working environment and to guard against the potential liability to the Firm’s employees, customers, facilities, assets and reputation. As a Workforce Screening Specialist within the Global Security Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that pre-employment background screening checks, and employee re-screening checks are conducted and adjudicated in accordance with the firm’s global or regional standards, policies and procedures, for the EMEA region. If you have acute attention to detail, excellent detective skills to obtain supporting information for cases with discrepancies and an ability to stay focused with a risk-based mindset when reviewing high volumes of data, we encourage you to apply. Job Responsibilities: Reviews and analysis of background screening cases that are assigned on a daily basis. Screening levels depend on the employment type, such as new hire or contractor and work location. The screening checks can include (but not limited to) credit checks, criminal checks, employment and education checks. Works with internal automated processes as well as a third-party screening vendor. Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks in the process. Communicate in a variety of styles via email and telephone with screening candidates to obtain information required for the screening process. Manages screening cases in accordance with agreed turnaround times and operational processes and on a time-critical basis. Escalates cases with concerns on a timely basis and be able to work with members of the wider team at all levels. Involves in project-based screenings such as ensuring screenings are completed in the agreed project timeline and escalating concerns on a timely basis. Improves processes within day-to-day operations and supports team-wide ad hoc projects. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Strong
