Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Workplace Assessor in Automotive to coordinate and assess the Modern Apprenticeship programs within the curriculum. Responsibilities
Provide support to both apprentices and employers throughout their course of study. Accurately assess apprentices' work to ensure it meets the awarding body standards in the specialist area of Automotive. Liaise with potential new employers to promote the college's apprentice programme. Qualifications
Educated to a minimum of an SVQ3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, you should possess a wide knowledge of the curriculum area, along with an understanding of sustainability, new technologies, and professional experience with up-to-date skills in the automotive sector. An assessor’s award qualification L&D9DI would also be desirable. Diversity and Inclusion
