The Role
Worka Made is currently the largest business unit of Instant Group and is focused on creating tailor made flexible workspace solutions for mid market and global corporate clients. The Worka Made offering includes workplace advisory, leasing, design, construction and operate services all packaged into 1 fixed monthly cost. Over the last 15 years, Instant Group has delivered over 6mil square feet of Worka Made solutions across over 350 sites in 28 different countries across the globe. Worka Made projects can either be:
Modular: leveraging the Instant Group kit of parts and product standards based on global research Custom: completely bespoke to the client needs and corporate guidelines The purpose of the Workspace Solutions Lead, EMEA, is to lead the design and pre-construction activities of Worka Made solutions, from client briefing to contract signature, and then handover to the delivery teams. This role serves as the bridge between client needs and workspace creation, crafting design and build solutions that inspire and engage clients while gaining their approval.
First and foremost, this role involves listening to the client technical needs and conveying these needs to various stakeholders. Majority of the day to day activities will be centred around managing the architectural, engineering, PM and QS project activities (RIBA stages 1 – 4). Additionally, this role will contribute to creating playbooks and design guidelines where required, working on multiple occupier, agent and landlord requirements.
What will you be doing?
Lead technical engagement in design and pre-construction for workplace projects (3,000-30,000 sqft). Collaborate with Instant’s multidisciplinary teams to value-engineer solutions for client needs. Develop briefing materials and participate in project meetings. Lead engaging, design-focused product proposals. Contribute feedback to improve global standards based on market insights. Conduct building surveys and support technical due diligence. Use Instant Group tools (e.g., configurator, virtual tours, cost plans) to produce workspace configurations and related technical content. Leverage Worka Made standard catalogues and scorecards to guide product specifications. Coordinate with procurement to align supply chain with design intent. Manage third-party consultants and contractors at early project stages. Collaborate with building services consultants to ensure coordinated solutions. Participate in R&D with global teams to enhance the Instant Group’s offerings. Promote sustainable solutions and reuse of existing building fit-outs where suitable.
