As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our modern workplace environment. Our ideal candidate would be someone who believes in the importance of both enablement and security. You will sit within the Information Security Team at Freetrade, and will contribute to how we shape our Workplace Technology function.

Triage and troubleshoot day-to-day IT support requests Contribute to project work and our roadmap content Manage our growing Mac estate via Jamf Support our cloud collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira etc. Champion the technology side of the onboarding and off-boarding processes Engage with key suppliers and contractors Provide tailored training and developing self service resources to empower employees Collaborate with our People and Finance teams to help manage their systems Help implement and maintain our audio visual capabilities, including Zoom Rooms hardware

Hands-on experience supporting a growing fleet of Mac devices Comfort with the asset lifecycle process from procurement to decommissioning The ability to balance customer support and technical troubleshooting Experience within modern IT environments with technical familiarity of tools such as Google Workspace, OKTA, JAMF, Jira, GCP A natural problem solver and self starter A strong desire to improve processes and ‘automate everything’ Confidence engaging with all levels of stakeholders and comfortable giving candid opinions Certification up to JAMF 400
