Natta Building are currently recruiting for an experienced Works Manager to join our team in Molesworth.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Works Manager will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency. You will work closely with project managers, site teams and clients to plan, coordinate and monitor construction activities related to the project.

Responsibilities:

Site management of health and safety Supervising all trades and operatives on site Attending weekly progress meetings Motivating the workforce including direct labour and subcontractors Assisting the Project Manager by ensuring all staff, operatives and supply chain partners attend site inductions Managing the General Foreman, Foreman, Site Supervisors and other assigned resources Leading and managing site operations, ensuring that the General Foremen or other site supervisors are organised and well-motivated to safely meet the programme milestones Liaising with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and project progress Supporting the Project Manager in defining the efficient and effective planning of the works and plant and labour resources Ensuring the timely ordering and delivery of all plant and equipment appropriate for safe delivery of the works and is secured and maintained effectively Detecting and correcting problems that arise on construction sites and propose solutions to resolve them

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience along with proven leadership skills. In addition, have CITB SMSTS or SSSTS certification and a relevant CSCS card. Ideally, you'll also have plant knowledge - CPCS Plant Certification and be an A61 - Appointed Person.
