As a Workshop Administrator, you are the vital link between your customers and our workshop, bringing to life the Northgate experience, ensuring their vehicles’ visit with us runs as effortlessly as we promise. Your responsibilities: Taking instructions from customers and processing efficiently service and/or repairs in workshop and obtain customer’s signature on completed repair order. Maintaining the progress of customer’s vehicle repair work, communicating any additional work required, obtaining authority, and ensuring full payment of any cash accounts before releasing vehicle. Notifying customer of vehicle status and arranging collection or delivery. Handing over vehicle in a professional manner, and in a clean condition, inspect vehicle for any bodywork damage, explain repair work carried out, if additional work is required re-book vehicle for future work. Ensure that Technicians job card write-up and allocation of time is well documented to ensure accurate billing. Maintain a good working relationship with customers by answering the telephone and responding to any queries within the target set by the Company to ensure repeat business. Ensure customer’s vehicle history is reviewed and maintained up to date and customer is informed of required services due. Ensure that customers who are waiting for their vehicle are comfortable. Ensure customer’s vehicles are secure at all times, especially when parked in the compound. Assist the Service Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service desk. Maintain the smooth running of the 24-hour service for incoming breakdowns and authority required for the repairs carried out in the workshop relating to the breakdowns.
