Experience of servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to meet current legislative requirements. Previous experience of completing service and repair documentation and records to meet required DVSA standards. DAF IT System knowledge would be a distinct advantage. Up to date knowledge of basic H&S legislation and practices. The HGV Workshop Controller role / responsibilities include (but are not limited to): As an HGV Workshop Controller, based in our busy Workshop environment, you will be required to schedule and supervise the maintenance, repair and overhaul of a variety of Commercial Vehicles, as well as standard servicing and diagnostics. You will also organize service and repair documentation and any/all other maintenance documentation in accordance with Company standards and legal requirements. You will monitor the maintenance of housekeeping across all sections of the Workshop and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. You will have people management responsibilities including performance and absence management, with overall responsibility for the Workshop performance and service levels.
