All jobs must be allocated to the appropriate team member, completed in the required time period and compliant with Vospers first time fix policy to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities & Accountability Develop processes that support the timely completion and submission of reports. Ensure all chargeable materials and labours are recorded on job cards thus enabling accurate invoicing and job costing. In conjunction with the Service Advisors confirm an efficient workshop loading system is operated, detailing the technician allocated the task, complete information on the work required, any upsell or additional interventions, current concerns that may affect the job and time of completion. This process should also include notification for the Valetor to clean the vehicle before handover. Ensure all job cards have a complete report of all service and repair interventions. Confirm all upsell items must be communicated to the Service Advisors with 20 minutes of inception. Written approval must come from the Service Advisors before work is undertaken. Approach tasks in a consistent, efficient and structured manner. Develop and maintain a level of knowledge on the Motor industry and the products and services that both Vospers and the Manufacturers offer. Monitor workshop staff efficiency levels and implement measures to improve figures where necessary. Maintain personal skill levels and full awareness of all technology used in the vehicle range, attending regular training when required. Demonstrate and maintain an appropriate level of technical expertise for a Workshop Controller in the motor industry. Inspect vehicles, diagnose faults where appropriate, complete allocated tasks efficiently.
