Opportunity at RRG Toyota Altrincham – Workshop Controller £41,000 OTE DOE Monday - Friday, Weekends on a rota basis Are you a senior/master technician looking to take the next step into workshop control? Take your experience to the next level in this role, leading the Workshop team to deliver technical excellence. You’ll work closely with the Front of House team to deliver market-leading services and ensure that every customer gets the best possible experience. You’ll allocate jobs to your team based on technical aspects and customer demand. If demand exceeds capacity, you’ll also provide technical support, as well as lead and mentor the team. Working with the Aftersales Manager, you’ll maximise capacity in the workshop and implement an effective deployment plan. You will monitor technicians’ efficiencies and performance on a daily basis. To be successful in this role you’ll need: Senior technician level with experience of coaching other team members. Diagnostic experience. Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance standard, or equivalent time served Experience of working in the automotive industry Experience of supervising/managing others (not essential) Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to colleagues and customers accurately and concisely.
