I am recruiting for a motivated Workshop Engineer (mechanical engineering) to join a busy team for my client on the outskirts of Colchester. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the implementation of engineering projects within a workshop environment. This position requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and a proactive, energetic approach. The role will require collaboration with other teams to ensure that all projects meet quality standards and are completed efficiently, so good communication and a positive attitude are essential.

Assembly work to meet bespoke client requirements Testing of engineering systems Overhauls and cleaning of client equipment when required Collaboration with other departments Progress reporting as required Assist in the testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure functionality and reliability.
Requirements
Strong mechanical engineering knowledge - some formal qualification is required Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues across various departments.
