Workshop Engineer

to support our workshop and service department, playing a vital role in delivering first-class service to our customers. About the Role: This exciting opportunity involves supporting the warehouse and workshop functions to maintain our reputation for excellence. From handling equipment to maintaining databases and ensuring a well-organised workspace, your contribution will enable the continued growth of our business. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, service and test safety equipment. Check returned equipment for damages and record serial numbers. Perform accurate calibration and functionality testing to ensure equipment meets manufacturer and industry standards. Identify faults or issues with equipment and provide efficient, effective solutions. Book deliveries onto courier systems. Conduct regular audits and assist with stock takes. Support any additional duties as required. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a similar engineering role, ideally within the safety equipment or related industry. Knowledge of safety equipment is highly desirable. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Valid UK driving license (Category B minimum). About You: A team player with a proactive approach to tasks. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
