Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deliver bespoke products for our global customers.
Liaise with stakeholders, order materials and equipment, and manage the design, manufacture, construction, and cost recovery of high-quality bespoke products.
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance of workshop machinery.
Ensure operational Health and Safety in the workshop.
Use traditional woodworking techniques and develop skills with CNC router technology.
Contribute to the research and development of potential future products, services, and new or improved processes.
Qualifications:
To be a success in this Engineer role you’ll have:
A Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in carpentry and joinery.
A comprehensive understanding of workshop Health and Safety.
Experience in the safe use, operation, and basic maintenance of workshop machinery, including spindle moulders, planers, thicknessers, tenoners, table saws, crosscuts, and wall saws.
The ability to interpret professional and technical documents.
Willingness to learn specialist software systems and tools.
Desirable: Experience as a First Aider or Fire Warden, and the ability to supervise and deliver training to colleagues.
