Workshop Engineer with QC Responsibilities A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fitter to join the Manufacturing team within freezing and chilling equipment manufacturer Starfrost. The role also includes responsibility for quality control checks and documentation for engineering projects. The position available is working as part of the Manufacturing team to construct high quality engineering projects to meet work programme budget and schedule. Key Responsibilities: Based in the Lowestoft Head Office manufacturing facility. Assembly & Fitting of engineered products to meet design & project specification and delivery dates. Deliver best practice engineering and problem solving. Efficient quality control checks and documentation for work scope. Work to health, safety and quality standards. Identify new opportunities for system, process and design improvements. The position will involve working to detailed design specifications and therefore it is essential you have strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all areas of the role. You will possess a self-motivated, flexible approach and the ability to work and contribute effectively as part of a team. Minimum Requirements: All-round knowledge of general Fabrication/Sheet Metal equipment. Proficient in Assembly & Fitting of Machined Parts and Compressed Air Pipework. Experience of Quality Control activity in an engineering environment. Good problem solving skills. Good all round Engineering experience within the industry is essential.
