The Role: As a Workshop Fitter, you'll be an integral part of our well-established team, working on a variety of mechanical systems and industrial machinery. Key responsibilities include:
Stripping, inspecting, and rebuilding industrial gearboxes. Inspecting and overhauling industrial machinery both on & off site. General mechanical fitting and workshop duties. Fault diagnosis, service, and repair. Providing technical support to customers. Completing reports both on paper and digitally - legible handwriting and computer literacy are essential.
What We're Looking For: Qualifications:
Apprentice-trained in a heavy plant environment or HNC in Mechanical Engineering. Experience:
Strong mechanical background in industries such as aerospace, energy, or automotive. Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication, customer handling abilities, and the capacity to work independently. Physical Fitness:
This role requires a good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work. Driving Licence:
A valid driving licence is essential.
