Our prestigious client based in Kidlington is looking for a Workshop Machinist to join their team on a contract basis. Job Responsibilities: Manufacture of machined components using CNC and NC equipment from a wide selection of materials. Liaising with the appropriate Team Leader to deliver products to the agreed schedule. Maintaining accurate and traceable records. Ensuring strict adherence to company quality standards. Using computerized systems to maintain CAD data integrity. Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental guidance and regulations. Take ownership of the manufacturing area and associated products. Drive continuous improvement activities. Reporting issues within the work area and resolving them where appropriate. Maintaining the working area to acceptable cleanliness and safety standards. Work on other programmes and sites as required by the business. Support the business in any reasonable way as required. The job holder may be expected to travel worldwide to support programmes when required by the business. Experience & Qualifications: Job holder must possess a suitable manufacturing qualification or equivalent experience. Experience of working in a mechanical environment is advantageous. Good working knowledge of proprietary PC software e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Holding a current driving licence would be advantageous. Salary: £16.00 - £21.00 per hour DEO Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00 Please call Adam on (phone number removed) to discuss further.
