MS515 - Workshop Plant Fitter

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Workshop Plant Fitter on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining plant to a high standard.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose faults and repair/maintain a variety of plant in the fleet including compressors, mini-excavators, dumpers, small tools, etc., both on and off site. Check and tag all equipment and update service records. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and the full range of accessories. Complete all test certificates and associated paperwork. Abide by customer Health & Safety rules when on site. Keep workshop and vehicle (where provided) organized, clean, and tidy, and assist with general workshop duties as and when required. Carry out any other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the Foreman or General Manager.
Skills and Qualifications: Able to work as part of a Team. Customer Service focused. Experience in a similar plant fitting role. CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable. Driving licence essential.
