Steel Fabrication Supervisor (Workshop)
Our client is looking for a Steel Fabrication Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. Please note, the main base for this position will be Luton.
They are specialists in their field (architectural/structural steelworks), with work in a range of construction fields from large scale new builds through to smaller renovations, refurbishments, and interior fit outs.
Must have knowledge in all aspects of Steel Fabrication.
Rate of Pay:

All candidates must:
Manage, motivate, and monitor the performance of all workshop staff while supporting them in daily tasks and development. Ensure availability of all materials required to meet production targets by forward planning and ordering. Ensure production targets and deadlines are met by maximizing use of available resources and scheduling working hours to achieve these targets. Be prepared for some overtime during periods of high production. Deal with other TPM staff and Site Supervisors while maintaining excellent working relationships. The ability to work as part of a team is essential. Ensure adherence to all workshop health and safety regulations. Book and arrange dispatch of product to customer sites as required. Attend meetings with senior management as required. Ensure the workplace is kept clean, tidy, and safe. Complete all associated paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
