Workshop Supervisor
to lead their team in the Newark workshop.
This is a hands-on role; you will support your team with the repairs and refurbishments of small plant machinery while also organising the workshop and leading by example. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person as there are excellent progression plans for the right individual. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is mechanically minded and loves to fix things.
Responsibilities Lead the Workshop team Work with Management to streamline and optimise the Workshops practices Inspect tools for faults Communicate with customers and provide quotes Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair various products and equipment Keep accurate records of repairs Inventory of parts Stay updated with new technologies and repair techniques
What you need to succeed in this role Experience in the plant fitting or hire trade is highly desirable Mechanical or Engineering mindset Great leadership skills Experience in repairs such as small plant, power tools or motorbikes Problem-solving skills Attention to detail Pride in a job well done Time management skills Commercial mindset
What you will get in return Working in a spacious workshop with access to all the best kit Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 and every 3rd Saturday 8:30-12 noon Full time, permanent position
