About the role As the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for running day-to-day workshop operations, directly managing the workshop team to ensure projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role supports the production manager by ensuring production schedules are met, resources are effectively utilised, and team members are aligned with project requirements and company standards. What we’re looking for We are looking for a hands-on leader with at least 5 years of welding and fabrication experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in welding techniques, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with the capability to guide and motivate a team. You must hold a clean UK driving licence and be able to obtain SC clearance. Skills and Experience Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate to ensure high-quality work and productivity. Time-served welder/fabricator with experience in various welding processes and materials. Strong understanding of quality checks and documentation, ensuring work meets the required specifications and standards. Where will you be working? You will be based at Westway Business Park, Renfrew. Westway is Scotland’s largest full enclosed industrial park, currently home to Malin Marine Services and our sister company Malin Equipment.
