Are you an experienced Workshop Supervisor or Manager with a passion for overseeing high-performing teams in a technical environment? A leading company in the material handling industry is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to manage their workshop operations. The Role

As the Workshop Manager/Supervisor, you will: Oversee the daily operations of a busy workshop, ensuring optimal workflow and efficiency. Manage a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management. Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to health and safety regulations. Coordinate scheduling, resources, and parts to meet deadlines and minimise downtime. Monitor and improve workshop performance metrics, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Communicate effectively with other departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure excellent service delivery.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone with: Proven experience in a workshop management or supervisory role, ideally within the material handling, automotive, or similar industries. Strong technical knowledge of material handling equipment or mechanical systems. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on motivating and developing staff. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. A commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance. A customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills.
