Position Overview
The Worship Leader role is to oversee, develop and direct the musical aspect of worship within the life and ministry of the Lee Abbey Community and its guests. The Worship Leader will have overall responsibility for training and encouraging those who have gifts in music and worship. You will be able to lead from piano and/or guitar and voice. A heart for worship, leadership skills and the ability to relate well to people are essential. Administrative skills are necessary. Responsibilities
Oversee and direct the musical aspect of worship. Train and encourage individuals with musical talents. Collaborate with the Mission & Ministry Team, Team Leaders, and Welcome Team. Participate actively in the creative, worship, and serving aspects of community life. Welcome guests to Lee Abbey. Position Details
The role is part of the Mission & Ministry Team. The position is residential (3 years) with appropriate allowance, accommodation, and full board provided. Closing date for applications is 7th March 2025.
