Role Purpose
The main purpose of the role is to support the development and daily management of the wrap around care provision, providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children. Key Responsibilities
Assist with organizing a daily routine that meets the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs of the children. Set up areas before children arrive and tidy away at the end of each session (ensuring the kitchen area and all tables are cleaned after each session). Meet and greet children as they arrive and liaise with parents at the gate during drop-off and collection times, ensuring a positive relationship with both. Interact with children, discussing their school day, playing games, or simply having conversations on an individual or small group basis. Ensure a good standard of behavior in line with the school’s behavior policy. Hours are 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Monday – Friday, during term time only.
