£12.82 per hour The Supply Register is proud to be working as a managed service provider on behalf of John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust to support with supplying the best talent the education market has to offer. Fradley Park Primary School is working exclusively with The Supply Register to recruit a Before and After School Club Practitioner who can support and enhance their wrap-around provision, caring for their children before and after the school day. This role is to start as soon as possible on a temporary ongoing basis. There may be an opportunity for the role to go permanent for the right candidate. Some of the responsibilities will include: Help plan a range of suitable activities for children aged 3 - 11 throughout the year. Treat all children as individuals and have a secure knowledge and understanding of their needs while they are within our care. Motivate and encourage the children to participate in activities. Ensure a clean, tidy environment conducive to fostering good Health and Safety practices. Assist senior staff in maintaining statutory and non-statutory policies and procedures required for the efficient running of the provision. Help prepare nutritional snacks for children. Ensure the welfare and safety of children within our care. Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons you are responsible for or come into contact with. Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school. Requirements: GCSE English and Maths (A-C) or Adult Literacy & Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent. Level 2 or 3 qualification in working with children or young people. Previous experience working in a similar role. Desirable: Other equivalent qualification relevant to children and young people. Previous experience providing wrap-around care within a primary provision.
