Set up and operate the XYZ Mill for manual and CNC (hybrid) machining tasks.
Perform precision machining operations, adhering to quality standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any issues.
Collaborate with the team to manage workloads.
Carry out any self-inspection tasks.
Requirements:
Experience in both manual and CNC (hybrid) machining is essential.
Prior experience with XYZ Mills is highly desirable.
Tool making experience is advantageous.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
This role requires strong machining and engineering experience;
formal qualifications are not . The position offers a pay rate of around £14 an hour. This is a full-time contract role, meaning 37 hours a week on a contract through FPR.
