£12.90 - £14.00 Per hour
Responsibilities:
Provide maternity cover for a Year 5 class
Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the national curriculum
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and senior staff
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to support student development
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school
Experience teaching in a primary school setting
Knowledge of the national curriculum for Year 5
Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics
Postgraduate qualification in Education (preferred)
Experience working with students with special educational needs (preferred)
The role involves working in a primary school setting, following school hours and term dates. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
