Job Vacancy: Part - time Year 1 Teacher Location: Brent, North West London Contract Type: Part -time, 3 days Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: (Apply online only) per day We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Part - time Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive, OFSTEAD GOOD primary school in Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and support our Year 1 pupils as they progress through Key Stage 1. This role involves a job share with AM PPA cover and PM teaching responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons that follow the Curriculum for Year 1. Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to help children reach their full potential Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independent learning and curiosity Support the development of key skills, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills, ensuring a holistic approach to learning Essential Skills & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1 A sound understanding of the Year 1 curriculum, including preparation for assessments. A genuine passion for teaching and supporting the development of young children Desirable: Experience in differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL Knowledge of effective strategies for supporting literacy and numeracy development in Year 1 Familiarity with current educational trends and best practices If you are an enthusiastic and creative Part - time Year 1 teacher looking to make a real impact on the lives of young learners, we would love to hear from you!
