Competitive, dependent on experience Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Braintree. This full-time role is to cover maternity leave and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive school community with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 4 pupils, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils in line with the school’s policies. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and respect. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum. Maintain high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies. Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships and communicate effectively regarding pupil progress and development. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching within the primary school setting, ideally at Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience preferred). Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff. A commitment to providing high-quality education and promoting the well-being of all students. A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
