Your new company A 'good' primary school based on the Wirral has a Year 5 class teaching job starting January 2025.

This is a full-time role and will be paid via Hays timesheets from January - April, with a view to it moving onto a permanent contract from that point. Applications are welcome from ECT - experienced primary teachers.

Your new role Hays Education Wirral are supporting the head teacher of a one-form entry primary school with the recruitment of a Year 5 class teacher.

As the Year 5 class teacher, you will be responsible for: Leading all teaching, learning and assessment for your class with the help of 1 full-time teaching assistant. Closely following school policies, including the behaviour policy, to ensure effective teaching and learning takes place. Working as part of the wider school team to promote the school's core values and community feel.

What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this Year 5 class primary teaching job you will need: QTS Excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills Recent and relevant experience working within primary schools - Key Stage 2 would be an advantage - that we can reference. The confidence to plan and deliver your own lessons that meet the Year 5 curriculum standards.
