2nd June. ABOUT THE SCHOOL Onsite parking and is located close to the Metropolitan and Piccadilly Lines. The school has developed an innovative approach to Teaching for Mastery in Mathematics and has links with the NCETM Maths Hub. The school is a Read Write Inc school where you will receive full training in the Read Write Inc or Literacy and Language approach, followed by ongoing training and support in these programmes. Links with local good schools as part of our QUEST partnership who are committed to providing high-quality CPD and opportunities across our schools. Training opportunities with universities and local teaching schools. Work/Life Balance Commitment Modified marking arrangements - they don't expect teachers to spend all of their time marking books. Teachers are skilled in providing feedback during the lessons, where it has most impact. Whole year group PPA together to plan collaboratively. All classes have a Learning Support Assistant. We also have a resource assistant in the school who will undertake photocopying and other tasks so that you and your LSA can focus on the pupils. Increased time for PPA at the times when it is most needed. Dedicated leadership time for Year Leaders and subject coordinators. ABOUT YOU Qualified teacher status (QTS). Previous experience as a Year 5 teacher is preferred, but other experience in KS2 is acceptable. A dynamic and engaging teaching style.
