Start date in September 2025, full time, fixed term for 12 months, Norwich and broader Norfolk area, hybrid model meaning min. 3 days per week onsite/travelling across the region & rest home office if you are based in Norfolk or Suffolk. Representing the Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone at a regional level, informing our project’s local communities. Real, hands-on experience, assisting us in solving complex problems – we will value your innovative and fresh thinking. Being embedded in projects from day one, enabling you to apply your knowledge and rapidly acquire new, marketable skills. Working alongside world-leading experts as a core member of the team.

Actively support the team e.g. with

Engaging closely with our delivery partners who are constructing the 60km underground cable route and onshore substation infrastructure. Building upon existing, and creating new, relationships with communities across the relevant area, strengthening a positive image of RWE and the project. Collating, reporting on and presenting information to evidence the work and positive social value being created by the team. Supporting the planning and delivery of a range of Community Engagement events, from project updates to community groups and stakeholders to represent the project and RWE at large public events in the region.

Job requirements and experience You are an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Economics, Communications, Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Sustainability. Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement. Looking at your current performance overview, you are on track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher. You have very good verbal and written communication skills. You are able to coordinate your own workload and meet tight deadlines. Working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders every day is something you feel comfortable with. You are open to travel to other sites which is essential. Travel expenses will be covered by us. Motivation is crucial. Your cover letter will tell us why you are a suitable candidate for this opportunity, and how it aligns with your studies & career plans. Advantageous, but not essential Work experience within the renewable sector or transferable industries. Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, social media, and other similar software.
