Year in Industry Non-Laboratory Placement for 2025
you’ll have the freedom to gain hands-on experience with some of the world’s most leading consumer products such as Nurofen, Strepsils & Durex. Working at Reckitt’s state of the art £100m Science and Innovation Centre, this placement will give you a fantastic foundation of knowledge of Reckitt and a unique insight into the workings of a global FMCG company. The placements will only be in Medical or Regulatory, with lots of opportunities to get involved in different projects. You can expect hands-on responsibility from day one, working alongside highly experienced and knowledgeable industry experts, who will help you develop a whole range of new skills. About the role
12 month Year In Industry Non Laboratory Placement Hull Competitive salary & benefits Closing date: 17th January 2025 Your placement will be non-laboratory based within the Medical or Regulatory teams, giving you the opportunity to work on some of our world leading brands. You must be studying a scientific degree, including but not limited to Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Science, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Science, or any other life science degree. 12-month placement starting in June 2025 – will be fully office based with no laboratory work; please ensure your degree requirements for your placement year align with this placement. Your responsibilities
Depending on the team you join, your responsibilities could include: Helping the team implement specific rules and regulations for all Reckitt products sold globally. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders internationally. Guiding the business towards safer choices in product designs, safety labeling, ingredients, and packaging materials. Supporting Reckitt’s toxicologists in applying scientific principles with project teams. Gaining insights into regulatory requirements for conducting clinical trials and processes to protect human subjects. The experience we're looking for

You will have the opportunity to work in Reckitt’s state of the art £100m Science and Innovation Centre, the largest single investment in the company’s history.
