To start in January 2025,

initially a 12-week temporary position but going permanent after the 12 weeks is possible. Office hours, with flexibility if you are available for a quick start with a DBS on the update service, that would be an advantage – this is a full-time position. Essential Criteria

Must have a full UK driving License. Must have experience supporting young people in a residential OR Outreach setting. Outreach support – office hour 9-5 Monday to Friday. Preferably be able to start work within 2-3 weeks (DBS and references in place). Preferred Criteria

Minimum 1 year residential experience. NVQ 3 in Children and Young People – preferred but not essential. Our client is a leading provider of care to children and young people in the area and they are currently recruiting for an Outreach Support worker on a permanent basis. Even though permanent, a quick start is possible if you have a current online DBS. As an outreach worker, you will work day shifts and not be required to sleep over. Outreach Support Worker Rochdale

£14 + Mileage Salary approx 23k once permanent after 12 weeks. Requirements: drive, experience working with young people, willingness to travel. This is outreach work, so you will need a vehicle and be able to travel to meet the young people based around the region. This role involves supporting Care Leavers aged between 15-18, helping to increase their independence skills. It is essential that you have experience of working within a similar setting and have preferably completed NVQ3 in Children & Young People Workforce or a qualification within this sector.
