Youth Workers & Care Workers – St Helens
Axcis Education is currently recruiting dedicated Youth Workers and Care Workers to support vulnerable pupils across various school settings in St Helens and the surrounding areas. We are a leading education agency that specializes in special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), working in mainstream schools, SEND schools, alternative provisions, and Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, and resilient in supporting students who may face a range of challenges, including: ADHD Attachment Disorders Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Challenging Behaviours Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) PMLD, SPLD, and more Desirable Qualifications/Experience
Teaching Assistant (TA) or childcare qualifications Training in Team Teach or MAPA Experience working with children or adults with additional needs If you have experience in managing challenging behaviour or emotional/behavioural disorders, this is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
