Youth Mental Health Worker - Maidenhead Immediate Start - Full Time Supporting Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Are you a recent graduate or someone with experience in education, looking to support young people's mental health and well-being? Are you exploring a future career as a Therapist, Psychologist, or in a similar field and want to build practical experience first? A specialist school in Maidenhead is seeking a proactive and dedicated Youth Mental Health Worker to join their team. The school supports children aged 5 to 18 with a variety of social, emotional, and mental health needs, offering an opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, including psychologists and SEN specialists. Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with therapists and external specialists. Support students with SEMH needs to improve emotional regulation and social skills. Provide personalised, targeted support to help students overcome barriers to learning. Show a genuine interest in supporting young people and their development. Stay calm, adaptable, and positive when handling challenging situations. This role is perfect for graduates seeking experience in education, psychology, or mental health. While experience is not essential, qualifications such as a Degree, Level 3 certifications, or prior work with children or SEN settings will be advantageous.
