Youth Mental Health Worker
to work in a school in Pulborough. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
The school places a strong focus on supporting students diagnosed with Autism, ensuring they receive the necessary interventions to aid their development and education.
As a
Youth Mental Health Worker , you will be directly involved in helping children manage their emotions and mental health, regulate their feelings, and adopt healthy coping strategies.
Your day-to-day duties will include supporting and shadowing the class teacher, providing 1:1 support for SEN students, and helping to run engaging lessons to create a fun classroom environment. Behavioural management may also be required.
This role offers a transformative experience, enriching your life while positively impacting children who struggle in the classroom.
Experience working with vulnerable children is desirable but not essential. Candidates with backgrounds in sports, art, or drama will also have an advantage. Graduates in a relevant field will be considered.
