We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic youth residential support mentor to join our team and play a pivotal role in enriching the lives of young people in our care. Role Overview: As a youth residential support mentor, you will be working in a home for adolescents with emotional and behavioural disorders. Your role is primarily that of a care worker, and you will be part of a team that provides a safe and often life-changing experience for our residents with ongoing support from the registered manager. Key Responsibilities: As a Youth Residential Support Mentor, you will play a crucial role in the lives of young people residing in our facilities. You will provide emotional and practical support, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve their personal goals. Your responsibilities will include: Building positive relationships with residents and acting as a role model. Assisting with daily routines, including meal preparation, education, and recreational activities. Providing one-on-one mentoring and support to address individual needs. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents. Facilitating group activities and workshops to promote social and emotional development. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Qualifications and Skills: Education:

Relevant qualifications in youth work, social care, or a related field are preferred. Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate young people from diverse backgrounds. Attributes:

A proactive and energetic attitude, with a passion for working with young people. A commitment to being a positive influence and role model. Requirements:

A valid UK driver's licence and a clear Enhanced DBS check or willingness to complete one. Shift Pattern:
