Oversee physical care of residents Development of acceptable habits and attitudes for residents Management of resident behavior Assist in meeting the goals and objectives of any resident service plan Responsible for the coordinated supervision of the residents Continuous awareness and ability to give a report of each resident Maintain structure and regulations at all times Completely and accurately document any required forms Perform waive testing on residents after home visits, runaways, and as needed with complete accuracy and compliance Attend all training mandated and continuously pursue training opportunities to meet standards Other duties as assigned by the CEO, Director of Program Services, and Director of Residential Ability to work on the weekends Qualifications of the Youth Support Specialist:
High School Diploma and six months experience working with children Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services OR actively pursuing the degree Knowledge and understanding of the organization’s mission and values Ability to support constructive resident-family visitation and resident involvement in community activities Ability to provide services in a culturally and linguistically competent manner Possess the temperament to work with and care for children, and youth, some with special needs in multiple age ranges Ability to accurately collect, review, and analyze waive testing of residents after home visits, runaways, and as needed Logistics of Position:
Saturday and Sunday: 12 hour shifts 6 AM - 6 PM Two 8-hour weekday shifts: 6 AM - 6 PM
