1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant focuses on assisting with classroom learning and daily routines.

What the role involves

• Assisting with classroom learning and daily routines.
• Implement individual support plans and strategies.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

• Provide personalised support and help pupils with additional needs achieve success both academically and emotionally!
• GSL Education are searching for a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Doncaster, supporting pupils with special educational needs on an individual basis.
• In this role, you will work closely with a student to provide tailored support, helping them access learning.
