What the role involves
- Assisting with classroom learning and daily routines.
- Implement individual support plans and strategies.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
