1:1 teaching Assistant focuses on helping with pupils learning and development.

What the role involves

  • Helping with pupils learning and development.
  • Supervising pupils in the playground, dining hall, cloakrooms and in class.
  • Keeping records of each pupil’s progress against EHCP targets.
  • Helping students develop life skills and mentoring them to have a positive outlook.
  • Be able to adapt resources to meet children’s individual needs.
  • Supply Desk is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all of the staff we employ to share this commitment.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

  • Short term – September 1st to October half term.
  • Learning Support Assistant Role required in the Gosport area for a September start.
  • Staff work closely with families, creating a supportive atmosphere where young learners feel secure, valued and ready to explore new ideas.
