1:1 teaching Assistant focuses on helping with pupils learning and development.
What the role involves
- Helping with pupils learning and development.
- Supervising pupils in the playground, dining hall, cloakrooms and in class.
- Keeping records of each pupil’s progress against EHCP targets.
- Helping students develop life skills and mentoring them to have a positive outlook.
- Be able to adapt resources to meet children’s individual needs.

Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Confirmed role details
- Short term – September 1st to October half term.
- Learning Support Assistant Role required in the Gosport area for a September start.
- Staff work closely with families, creating a supportive atmosphere where young learners feel secure, valued and ready to explore new ideas.
